Josh and Coco
Shelters can be overwhelming places for some animals, especially new mums. So when Coco gave birth to Josh in the shelter, she and her pup were welcomed into the home of Foster Carer Kristy who provided that extra level of love and attention to ensure both dogs have good chances of being rehomed.
RSPCA NSW Foster Carers open their hearts and homes to all kinds of animals that need special care: mums and babies, orphans, animals recovering from surgery, and those that need a quieter environment for their rehabilitation. Our carers receive full support including training and supplies, and say that helping an animal with their second chance at life is a huge reward for their TLC.
