School Holiday Program – Part 1

What kid doesn’t love animals? And what parent doesn’t love a way to entertain their children in the school holidays?

RSPCA NSW’s School Holiday Program gives kids aged eight to 17 an opportunity to see behind-the-scenes at an RSPCA shelter and learn more about becoming a responsible pet owner. The sessions are split between three age groups to ensure appropriate content: eight to 11 year-olds learn the basics about animal care, 12 – 14 year olds receive more detail about the various aspects of the organisation, while senior students can attend a careers day to find out more about careers involving animals.
