Often people think of the RSPCA as a government-funded agency or a revenue-generating corporation whose sole purpose is seizing animals and profiting from adoptions. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We wanted to clear the air and help dispel some of those myths that have been floating around.

Is RSPCA a fully funded government agency? Is the RSPCA’s aim to seize animals or help the owners care for and maintain their animals? Is it true that the RSPCA makes millions from animal adoptions? These are some of the myths that we will explain and happily mark as busted.
