Centre for Learning

Education is pivotal to our vision of preventing cruelty to animals. We believe if we can prevent cruelty before it happens through education, then we stand a better chance of ending it forever. In 2011, we established the RSPCA Centre for Learning. As a registered training organisation, the centre has accredited courses for people working in the animal industry or for those interested in gaining more knowledge in animal wellbeing and health.

Facilitated by skilled trainers, our focus is on providing animal welfare-based learning coupled with practical, hands on experience in our shelters and Care Centres. Courses are designed for those interested in knowing more about how to care for their pet right through to those wanting to gain accreditation to start a career in the animal industry.
